The handwheel mechanism is used with the pneumatic actuator. When the gas source signal fails, the valve cannot be opened, closed, or fixed in a certain position, which must be completed by hand wheel.

1.The opening direction of the valve is usually opened counterclockwise, clockwise indicating the valve is closed. Therefore, the direction should be noted when switching valves.

2.The handwheel and handle on the valve are designed according to normal manpower. Therefore, it is not allowed to open or close the valve with lever and long wrench.

3 When the handwheel is fully opened, it should be reversed a little to tighten the thread, so as not to loosen the damage.

4.If the handwheel is for the limit use, it should be in the predetermined position, which can be used to remember the full opening and closing position with the ruler and mark, so as to avoid the crash point at full opening.

5.Valve factory, no matter the pneumatic actuator is positive action or reaction, handwheels are open, and use lock lock, in order to avoid operators the handwheel shut down wrong operation, the valve cannot open or short of the required flow, causing unnecessary accidents and loss.

6.Before using the handwheel operation, the operator will remove the wheel lock and then operate it. After the operation is completed, if there is no special instructions, it is necessary to open the handwheel and lock the door.
